Curtis James Band has evolved once again!
With the return of CJB's original lead singer and master of blues harmonica,
Jeff Petty, the group has returned to its power blues roots
and has changed its name to reflect the new direction.
The band will now be know as XLB which stands for Extra Large Blues.
As always, XLB is group of good friends and musicians who have
been playing great music in the Denver area for more than 25 years.
The band has played Colorado public and corporate venues state wide.
From bands which include, Curtis James Band, FIFT28E, Tuna Blue,
Union Street, Cimarron and Stone Cold Blues Band, the members of XLB
bring an eclectic mix of musical influences and experiences.
The band's mix of electric Blues and R&B is complemented
by a little Funk, and some good ol' fashion Rock and Roll.
It's a toe-tappin', good dancin', high quality mix of licks and
harmony sure to please all who listen.
XLB is Extra Large Blues!
